Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing
This very pretty moth was resting in the garden, looking every inch the gentle, innocent visitor.
Sadly however he is a serious pest - a Box-Tree Moth, first seen in the UK in Kent (which happens to be my home) in 2007 and thought to have been accidentally introduced from Asia.
Once identified, everything fell into place - it’s large, bright caterpillars had only a few weeks ago devastated my ornamental box ball in a matter of days.
