I was really lucky...

... when I called in at a local nature reserve this morning.

This grey heron seemed quite happy to sit in the sun and be photographed at quite close quarters. My excellent Olympus 300mm lens did the rest.

It was much more difficult trying to produce this triptych in the latest version of Photoshop. Yet another of their 'improvements' has made this  a much more difficult task - really annoying.
