Melbourne Food and Wine Festival lunch.

Every year, my friend Eva organises a special lunch during the Food and Wine Festival. We dine cheaply in restaurants we couldn't usually afford except for special occasions.

This year we were at a French restaurant in Toorak. It's the first time (truly ruly) that's I've dined out for French as the culinary delights of this cuisine are usually too rich for my belly. But today was fantastic - a pear salad to start and fish for main.

I love my girls. There are 6 of us in our group and hanging out is an absolute pleasure. They are 6 of the most wonderful women I've ever known.
