Arcadia Theatre

Frosty start, sunny day, very chilly but nice winter conditions.

Supermarket shopping this morning, this afternoon a 30 minute drive south to Waimate for Doug to have a physio appointment. Another two scheduled for next week.  He’s been suffering badly for over two weeks  with back pain, and consequent referred nerve pain down his left leg and into his foot.  
We’re hoping for a good outcome, the last two times this has happened he has ended up in hospital and we don’t want that again.  
This lovely old and now derelict building graces one of the streets of Waimate.  Such a shame to see this, but funds to restore would be huge and there aren’t any funds these days for this type of restoration sadly.  Quite a few years back our photography club had a portrait workshop inside this which was fabulous.
