The Drum Inn

I don’t know if Sir Edwin Lutyens deigned many pubs but he certainly designed this one in Cockington, Torquay. It is a big pub because a large residential development was planned for this thatched ‘village’ which fortunately never happened . They built the pub first. It’s a fine building with signage by Dame Laura Knight.
