Trees, trees, trees

My husband said something wonderful when we prepared breakfast. "Can we go to the forest". Wonderful words to hear, because it meant that he feels pretty good and can cope a visit to the forest. Said and done, we went to the forest. And my husband did what he loves to do, looked at birds with his binoculars. And saw a canoe! (He saw birds too).
First extra: The rear paddler knew how to live the life. It looks serene, but they were very loud. We could not hear what they said, maybe they yelled at the lazy one on the back to paddle on.:-)
Second extra: I forgot to post the photo yesterday. (So for the first time I do not follow the Blip rules and show a photo not taken on the day). It is special for blipper Anemone (but of course for everyone else too) who wondered about the blossoming tree the other day in the park with the Cacti plantation. So I went there to check this. It was not a blossoming tree, but new red leaves on a
Acer platanoides ’Columnare’, delightfully beautiful.
