Quite cool and cloudy this morning. We took a trip up the Carron Valley but decided not to tarry in case we got sucked dry by millions of midges. They really are the Curse of Scotland!
This afternoon I washed the car. Half way through the sun put in an appearance so I needed to hose off and dry down pretty quickly to avoid streak marks on the car paintwork. 
That sunshine has continued and the thermometer topped out at a very pleasant 20C.
