Garden comes to the rescue again.

The trouble with this twice weekly swimming is, it cuts the day in half. I'm not an early bird kind of person, and the thought of getting into a swimming pool at 6.30 horrifies me, so it's the 12 o'clock session I go for.

On the way back I called into Hobbycraft as I needed some green card to make a birthday card. I can't resist checking out the wools, and have come back with a ball to knit a shawl. Nothing clever, I just wanted to be able to pick up some knitting here and there, and not have to concentrate on a complicated pattern. The wool is very pretty with a gold thread going through it.
