Taco Tuesday

This morning we had back to back sessions at the Academy, taking students through the process of gutting fish, grilling them on an open fire and then turning them into delicious fish tacos. Considering the utter drama we had yesterday at Belvidere doing the exact same session, today's students were brilliant. Even if they didn't like the idea of eating the end product, they were all keen to get stuck in with the practical side. These were our last Campfire Cooking sessions of the term, and our last ever with Becci and so it was good to end on such a positive note. For the last few couple of weeks of term we'll be spending most of our time in Primary Schools for transition work, which is always a nice little change of pace to end the school year. It will be interesting to see how the different primary schools work around having visitors in at the moment. Sadly, we won't be doing as many of these sessions as normal because some schools just aren't accepting visitors.

A quick milkshake with Grace after work followed by a glorious couple of hours of football. I don't think it's coming home, but I'd be very happy to be proved wrong!
