Old style

       I am missing my morning walks. A walk on the roads around the neighbourhood with little chance of observing wildlife other than deer just isn't the same though it doesn't seem to bother Kiki other than being on the lead all the time. Is that a run on sentence or what?

       DX lens on full frame (I over-rode the automatic in-camera cropping) hence the vignetting which goes with the treatment which would have been lost if I reduced the image to 3:4 to further enhance the aged look. The clouds are teasing. We've had the odd crackle of distant thunder (Kiki hides in the basement) and scattered sprinklings of what hardly deserves the name rain.

       The forest, public (BLM) and AZG&F land remain closed to public access until further notice or September 1st . . . we'll see if the monsoon rains ever materialize.
