Cavendish! I did not see that one coming. At all, at any point.

Figured England had a decent chance against Germany - it was for sure the best chance they’d had for a while.

But all the emotional investment had really been used up watching Cavendish at the end of the stage. He’s often laconic, but to see him speechless was something else.
