I had an office day but joined Mrs SJR for some fresh air at Achaderry in the morning.
It is immensely frustrating how one little computer issue can snowball into a full scale IT project in its own right.

Just print, sign, scan and email back.

A Windows update has stopped the scanner/printer talking to the PC. Initially I thought it was the wifi (and maybe it was) but every update seems to make it more difficult for peripheral devices to share its services with the PC. File sharing in our home network had also seized up. Another 5 minute evening task that seems to have swallowed a couple of hours. Its fixed now but scanned documents are defaulting to a new secret folder location. Will I remember the next time I go to do a 5 minute scan.
