Brighter Evening

After a dull start to the day this afternoon / evening brightened up.
It was all topped off with a fine England win against Germany . Having watching the 1st half at work as it kicked off at 5.00 when we closed instead of the possibility of getting caught up in traffic I stayed and caught up on a few admin bits and then dashed home during half time . I then settled down to enjoy a fine 2nd half performance with 2 fine goals and a let off from Muller missing what was a chance where he should and normally would have scored but as they say that is history. 
At the final whistle a  dash over  to Metheringham to pick Julie up as she went over there to get things ready for her Dad hopefully been allowed home. On the way home and no blip I spotted this lovely sky looking across the fields with the Cathedral on the horizon so pulled over and grabbed a couple of shots. Watching more football Sweden v Ukraine with the winner facing England  in the quarter finals 1 -1 at the moment and just gone to extra time
