2021 Monday — Debi’s House
Debi and her husband Mike moved to Cayucos just over 2-years-ago. I had met her on social media and then bumped into them at a restaurant here in Cayucos and I recognized them because she had posted numerous photos of her dogs.
Then just recently I met Joy online and she and Debi met online and quickly the three of us have become friends who meet in-person to hangout some.
So this past Friday morning we were going to meet in the lovely garden setting of Luna’s Coffee Bar, but Debi was not feeling great so we changed it to Monday morning (today) at Debi’s house. She has a bad knee and currently getting out of her house is difficult.
So this morning Joy walked up the hill to my house to get me (her house sits immediately in front of mine two streets closer to the ocean and lower in elevation; we can see a portion of her roof from our place). Then we headed south to Debi’s house, which is about a mile and a half away.
Deb’s husband, Mike, had driven into the community of Morro Bay to the French Bakery to get pastries for our coffee gathering. Morning coffee and pastries with Debi and Joy was so enjoyable. We stayed about 90 minutes; talked about everything under the sun, and then Joy and I walked a different route back to our area of Cayucos; we walked on the sand of the shoreline part of the way back.
They neither one wanted to take a group picture, so I captured this glimpse of Deb in front of her beautiful kitchen.
From California’s Central Coast,
