Awaiting The Delivery

Tuesday is the day for the grocery delivery from Sainsbury’s. Today’s Blipfoto shows our carrying crates waiting to be filled.

However, the main point of interest is our rather large fern which survived the winter gales and my rather vicious unskilled trimming back.

I think it has recovered successfully.

The delivery arrived on time, although a carton of double cream had fractured in the van. Of course, we receive a credit for that. However the delivery driver was concerned about the various products covered in the cream.

Ignoring the cream, they were fine and I accepted them. They have all been washed down, examined and have been put away.

Washing down our crates took a little longer.

There is no use in crying over spilt milk (cream).

After two cool days it appears that the weather is taking a turn for the better.
