Soggy cat

I didn't manage to get any photos today and it was raining so not ideal weather for it. Then on my way home I spotted this cat sheltering under a car. He came over as soon as he saw me stop. I call him Stumpy as he has only the stump of a tail. He walks a bit strangely because of it, sort of waddling a bit with his legs quite widely spread, and you can see his stump waggle. He kept moving so I had to move the camera to keep it the same distance from his face to get the photo which has created an interesting light effect in the background.

I'm glad it's the weekend, I'm so tired. Today at work everyone was clearing out junk to try to make the office look presentable for our important visitors next week. The phrase "polishing a turd" does come to mind unfortunately. We're wondering if they're gong to hide the rodent traps all around the edge of the room. They have replaced a broken ceiling tile and all the broken light bulbs making the office much brighter, but I think they'd be better to keep the light low to hide the state of the place. People keep putting m rubbish bags and boxes and other junk next to my desk so that by the end of the day I was surrounded.

I wish the weather would save up sunshine for the weekends. I'm so bored of grey wet cold weekends and a lack of photography opportunities.
