Take off

Made a brief foray outside to try catching a bird taking off... no luck there, they are all too fast for my skills and patience. The barn swallow youngsters are up on the rafters, ready for a take off. This will have to do.
I think we had 115F today, 46C. Now it's finally cooling off; tomorrow's high will be "only" in the low 90's.
