Belgium

Just after seven we were cycling again.  Now in another direction.  We are allowed to enter Belgium if we have a vaccination certificate or a valid NAAT (PCR) test.  Such a test costs money, except for holidaymakers who fly to, for example, Spain or Greece in July or August. Then it will be for free.

Belgium is a stone's throw away and eventhough we're not making a necessary trip, we were close to home.  It was at the latest in November 20 when we set foot on Belgian soil.
We cycled to Homburg, to Kelmis and via Eynatten to Kornelimünster.  The last one is Germany.  Our favourite cafe further from home, Bahnhofvision, is closed at such an early time and I really wanted to have breakfast on a terrace in Aachen.
I don't know the German corona rules, but I do think it's less strict.

It is such a nice cycle ride  to Kornelimünster via Belgium..
