SILVER FERN

This is a one ounce pure silver coin - current value around 36 dollars. The coin was minted at the NZ Mint. It raised the question in my mind about the New Zealand Olympic team preparing for the Games in about 3 weeks time and will proudly wear the  silver fern. There is a lot of pressure on whether the Games should go ahead or not. My thoughts are with the athletes whose lives have been driven to this highlight of their sporting careers. I wish them safety during their representation of the Silver Fern an icon of New Zealand.
