Tonight's dinner provided by....

Apparently a near by robins nest based on the fact that a robin pursued it to the tree.  Not gonna lie I was outside talking on the phone while my new babies played in the yard.  Played in the yard just about under this tree limb actually and when I saw this hawk coming in for a landing all I could think was "I'm not going to make it across the yard to my babies in time!"  My little dogs are still so little, Persephone is about the size of a bunny at this point maybe even a bit smaller.  My heart may have stopped.  I quickly picked up babies and put them back in the house only to grab the camera and come back out to take pictures.  The robin was pretty angry so maybe it was all full on baby birds but I wasn't taking any chances, thinking we will just stay inside for the evening.
