Rain ...

.... and it still was raining when this happened!

I was driving back from cleaning at Abergynolwyn and Dolgoch (cover for someone else) after a wet evening when a slight colour appeared in the Northern sky above the hills.   By the time I was in sight of the coast, half the sky had a pink tinge and a short detour to the seafront was well worth it.

Puppy Bella seems to be settling in ok and Meg has taken it all in her stride.   This is very good news given her headstrong tendencies when we meet other dogs outside.   Unpacking, tidying, cooking chilli and work filled most of the day.   Mum finally returns to her London home tomorrow and popped round to meet Bella and say goodbye to Jamie.   Hoping she'll be back here in the autumn.
