Procrastinating.

I called Katie tonight. She put me on speaker as she was supposedly packing when I called. She was quite stressed and overwhelmed. So I talked her through some bits of the packing and helping her work out what she might or might not need of her stuff for the next four days.

She went to get her laundry from her shelf. She came back with her ukulele and played me all the chords she's now learnt. She went quiet for a while and said "hang on, I have to show you my creation". She sent me a photo of the 'hat' she's wearing here. I heard her house parent come on the corridor. Katie called to her "Mrs L. do you like my creation?".... Mrs L suggested that it should be compulsory travel wear for all the international students she is transporting tomorrow. Katie was very pleased she endorsed the creation instead of nagging at her again about packing. Apparently there has been quite a bit of nagging about packing.....

I can't imagine why.....
