Swan Upping! or at least Up Swan!

We drove down to Haddington today chasing some brighter weather and found it.
Enjoyed a good wander and managed to resist spending anything in the charity shops.
We came across this Swan and cygnet on the Tyne by the Waterside Bistro. Unusual to find only one adult and young.... did anything happen Haddington blippers?
The Swan was very put out by a dog which ran towards the river and reared up in the water beautifully, it sounded like it was hissing too which I hadn't heard before.
We had a lazy coffee in the Loft, but they had stopped serving food by then.
