Fur Coat an Nae Knickers
I saw this fur coat hanging on the street railings on Heriot Row in Edinburgh's New Town this morning and the phrase "Aw fur coat an nae knickers came to mind". It's a phrase used as a jibe by Glaswegians against Edinburgh residents to insinuate that while those in Edinburgh may perceive themselves to be cultured and posh, in reality they are no classier than those in the west.
I did look around to see if there was a nude lady looking for a coat but there was no sighting.
