LD 460 Toby location

A couple of weeks ago we needed to find the valve to shut off the water to the house (known as  a toby of course) and although we did know roughly where it was placed when we got mains water about 14 years the passage of time had erased both our memories and any signs of it.   Fortunately the emergency passed. 

Today however we did need to use it as a new tap had to be fitted to a sink that had no valves on the pipes below it.   

Fortunately the  plumber found the right spot very quickly, and I have taken a few photographs of the exact position just to be prepared for the future.
