Queen catcher

Out west to apiary as a queen cells in a hive that i needed to sort.

First thing a small swarm on a tree dealt with and in a nuc box.

Started goung through the hive. Could not find queen but plenty of queen cells.

After ages found a virgin queen who flew of the comb into the hive. Split the hive in 2 with some queen cells in both. Took some queen cells into mating boxes.

Then a caste swarm came out another hive. Managed to get that and it contained at least 3 queens. What a carry on.
