Lunch Spot, Millennium Track
Ten brave souls met, and walked from the car park passed Waterfall Creek, where some us had our lunch, while the rest walked on to just past Slaughter House Creek +4C when we set out. However surprisingly enough the sun came out, and it warmed up to be +7C. Although the ski fields got snow overnight, we are expecting snow to low levels tonight.
We enjoyed a hot cuppa and cake on the way back to the cars. The extras are (1) The local vineyard (2) The lonely tree from yesterday, but a bit closer today, (3) Setting Out.
Another lovely day out in the sun, with good company. 12,000 steps or 8 k's.
