Fire Escape Shadows ...

... in upper Manhattan, captured as we drove by on Riverside Drive in our niece Laura's car at 4 pm.  She had picked us up at our apartment, and conveyed us to our house in Northampton Mass.  What convenience!  The day was mostly sunny and very warm--in at least the high 80s F (30 C).

The mark on the map represents a fair bit of guesswork  :)
