Given how qualified the NHS response is to a negative Lateral Flow Test, you could wonder how much faith you should put in the result. Guess at the end of the day it is better than seeing a positive result which would not be the best start to the week.

Listening to Kermode & Mayo this afternoon, my attention was drawn to the fact that Casablanca was on TV yesterday. Another one of those films considered a classic by many. Despite knowing so many of the famous quotes from the film, I had never seen it. I have no idea how many people I’ve told over the years “we’ll always have Paris” or some other random town depending on the comedic effect wanted.

Anyway I decided to right this “wrong” and watched it this afternoon. Along with Citizen Kane & A Wonderful Life, I’ve now added this to the list of my cinema classic accomplishments.

Presently working my way through Breaking Bad on Netflix years after everyone else. Considered by many one of the greatest TV series ever. I can see why. I will decide at the end if it joins: NYPD Blue, The Sopranos & ER.
