Lazy summer Sunday

Today it was warmer up here than down south. My day began early in town. As I drove into the west end I saw the sun ricocheting off the newly unveiled ribbon that swirls above the St James Quarter. For the first time I was impressed by this new addition to the city skyline.

We walked down the Brunstane Burn in the warmth of the afternoon sun. The vegetation was wonderfully lush. The path was surprisingly quiet. Maybe many are already away on family holidays now the schools are closed for the summer.

There was a dramatic sunset over Porty this evening.
