Everyone Else in the Room Could See It

What a sky!

Tonight, because the clocks will be changing shortly, Si decided that the Scouts would play a Wide Game.

He left early to pick up additional supplies, as well as the laundry bag full of Water Balloons, four huge flasks for hot drinks, poles, flags, torches, and glow sticks; and set off for the woods.

And I set off to Morrisons (other Supermarkets are available), to collect a bottle of beer for him to recover, and a bag of crisps for me. The sky was a gorgeous blue, but a mahoosive black cloud was coming over...

I drove home via the woods, and stopped in the car park to watch the gathering of Si's troop of 40+ Scouts, just as the rain began to fall; it wasn't just rain tho - it was ginormous sleet balls, gallons of them; and the Scouts started to scream and run around like lunatics.

And I smiled, waved at Si, and the one other leader who was there to help control all 40 of them.

And came home.
