More grey

The weather was grey and overcast and not conducive for beach trips!  We did a bit of cleaning up and pottered in the garden and had a late brunch before heading off to Ightham Mote for a walk around.  The weather didn’t improve but we looked at the gardens, pondered why it’s called Mote not Moat - one to google.  When we got home, I resisted  putting the heating on but its cold and really not ‘flaming June’ - let’s hope weather improves next week.
