‘Wild Strawberries’

There are several patches of wild strawberries spread across different parts of our little garden. 

Not quite sure how they got there, but their reappearance each summer is a really welcome sight!

They are just beginning to ripen now and are surprisingly good to eat! 

The only problem is getting to the ripe ones before the birds do!
