Windpump Crossing
I had a little wander up to Windpump Crossing this afternoon to see the 2.50pm from Sheringham pass. Had a nice conversation with a man with his son (grandson?) who had moved here a few months before we did and was now a volunteer on the stations and had just passed his test to be able to be left in charge of a station on his own, which was apparently quite a difficult test.
The engine in steam today was 76084, a BR Standard Class 4. A fine old engine; odd to think that it is three years younger than me.
