……………….Spring Blooms


An in-camera double exposure with the trunk of the apricot tree providing the textured layer for these early snowflakes.

In the past I always knew these as snowdrops, but discovered, according to the experts that they were in actual fact snowflakes and the dainty blooms I knew as snowflakes are actually snowdrops.
