And then there were two

The leaves are departing.  Only two of these wee beauties left now.  I do hope they're not feeling their loss too heavily.  

I think the lovers may have had a pact as they both disappeared at about the same time.  One of their support network has gone too.........it happens to everyone and everything.  Nothing to fear from their side, but some sadness maybe for the remaining supporters.  I wonder how long these two will last on their own?  Cold (read 'real' winter) weather is about to descend upon us in the next few days.......that may spell their end.
