The Lounge
Thank you for all your lovely comments on yesterday's blip - you are a very supportive bunch of blippers and i appreciate it.
Following a good long walk with the dogs I met a friend in The Lounge as I was treating her to lunch there to celebrate her birthday last week. This is on the High Street, so is part of my OneStreet series, and it is a charming restaurant which boasts french style bistro cuisine. You can choose either these comfy loungers for tea and coffee or standard tables which are more comfortable if you are having a meal. I was early and therefore able to take this shot without any bodies in the way but after just an hour the place was buzzing. Opposite you can see the shop known as Valentines of Crieff which was originally run for many years as a family concern and it sells clothing for men and women. It does not offer trendy fashion at all but is a source of good quality clothing that lasts for years.
After a delicious lunch and good chat I returned home and felt guilty that I hadn't done much in the garden for a while so pruned the buddleia and attempted to put the prunings through the shredder. Unfortunately it was all a bit green so I ended up with a load of mashed stem blocking the shredder. Ho Hum!
