Enjoying the Beetles

Came across an old abandoned glass bottle that had served unintentionally as a pitfall trap and had collected a few beetles. It was a bit smelly sorting them from other debris, but I will now enjoy trying to key them out to which species they are - probably just two different ones. I went out with a particular landscape shot in mind, but it's wonderful how something completely unexpected can provide a photo opportunity.
