Anniversary, day two.

An old friend called by this morning out of the blue.  Turns out that he and his wife are selling up here in France and moving back to Scotland.  It will be a shame to see them go.  He called to cadge a coffee and stayed chatting for nearly three hours!  Then we did lots of gardening; cutting grass, strimming and weeding.  Dip in the pool, aperos and dinner on the terrace.  My choice of menu; Toulouse sausage, barbecued courgettes and Dauphinoise potatoes.  A Whats App call with Matt and Val ended a lovely day (day two of our anniversary celebrations).  As I write this thunder and lightning are rolling in.  I think we are in for a stormy night.
