Holiday happy!

We slept fitfully in the lay by outside Kettering. We managed to make a cup of tea but then crashed out once it was too dark to see, which was soon after. I woke at 5.30 and again at 6.30, and we were on the road by 7.30, stopping at a services near Birmingham at about 9. There we had a bacon roll in Subway for breakfast.

Stopped again and made coffee in a lay by just in to Wales, and eventually arrived at our destination just outside New Quay in Cardigan Bay.

In order of events, as soon as we arrived we had a cup of tea and then lunch. The awning was next...we don't think we have had to put it up with just 2 of us before, and definitely missed our Henry being a tall extra body to help.

Then we crashed out and slept for 2 hours!! We could have slept on but I made us get up. I cooked ourselves the Chinese meal which we picked up at the Waitrose services shop. Meal for 2 plus 4 beers for £12, so decided we could treat ourselves today. That finished, and it just leaves washing up, and a bed to make up.

The view we have looks inland across beautiful countryside. The coast is 3 miles behind us, so tomorrow we plan a walk to explore.

Feeling better already.
