Medals

Anne Brooke’s embroidery group - 52 Tags - is growing all the time. Today she marked the halfway point in the project - Tag 26 - by doing a live session, instead of posting a video as usual. I know it sounds strange, but it was quite exciting to be there at 12pm today, as so many people signed in to watch. In the end there were over 450 viewers and many more say they will be watching the recording later. They were joining in from all over the world, some in the US were just getting up, some in Australia were just going to bed. It is turning out to be a great, supportive community, as we share our work on instagram, and it is no wonder, as Anne is such a wonderful, inspiring teacher and a lovely, down to earth sort of person (a true Yorkshire lass!). Her session today was a delight. We are to make medals for ourselves to celebrate our achievement of getting halfway through the challenge.
