Today would have been Ursula’s son, ( my son Laurence’s father) Daniel’s 50th birthday. His suicide 12 1/2 years ago , a tragic loss for so many , but more so for his lovely family.
I lit a candle in his memory.

Later we went on a circular walk at the coast from Kippford to Rockcliffe and back. It felt good to breathe the sea air and walk in such beautiful surroundings.
We had a late lunch in Castle Douglas, and then Ursula and myself went round to see my Mum.
