Ho ho ho, you can almost count the pixles! Despite the great resolution you can, if you squint, see the shot I was aiming for, had I been carrying my camera. However, I was not.

Looking at the forecast and spotting the rain was due to set in for the next few days at lunchtime, my mother and I went for a stroll in the almost spring-like warmth round the valley. Just as well, because sure enough, at 1 it started to rain, with no hope for it stopping for much of the next 30 hours.

After some online inspiratoin, I caught the train to Bristol to do some shopping before the weekend, and got some nice new clothes. Spotted this old warehouse and crane and cloud just round the corner from Temple Meads.

As I walked back with a rather immasculine number of shopping through the new office blocks around Temple Meads, I was amused to witness, at 5 on the dot, hundreds of office workers pouring from the doors of their buildings, like school children when the bell rings. It reminded me of that advert for mastercard a few years back.

Back home, took a call from the job in Wales. Looks like I've got it... fingers crossed as the final bits are put into place!

Booked a trip on the Eurostar to see Meg over Easter, and bought some shoes online. Expensive day. Worth it.
