Culver Hole

Today I (Annie) had a day off. It’s actually an extra day per year from my company to celebrate the anniversary of joining. You’re meant to do something specifically different and just for you. What’s different at the moment? Head out of England for the first time in 16 months and spend time with friends.

So we’re a group of 5 of us, camping in the Gower. After erecting our tents, we went for fish and chips by the sea for dinner, then a walk along the coast. The blip is of Culver Hole, believed to date from medieval times and with a relationship to smugglers.

Then back to the campsite to sit and chat, as we’ve been unable to do in person for around 2 years. Bliss.

Meanwhile poor Chris was back home. He spent the morning in eye casualty at our local hospital. It was a long wait but the diagnosis was as expected, a bleed caused by diabetic retinopathy. He’s awaiting next steps now.
