Early birthday celebration

Jan and I went into town (Birmingham) by train to celebrate my birthday a week early.
We had lunch and cocktails at Pitcher and Piano on the canal side and then went on for another cocktail at Canal House where this pic was taken. We then went into the bullring to do some shopping and mooching. We haven’t been into town for well over a year of course and a lot has changed near Broad Street and the Rep theatre. Very impressive. The weather changed while at we were in the bullring, and by the time we got off the train at Longbridge we were in the midst of a full blown thunderstorm and torrential rain. Dash of course was waiting for his walk!!!
