Final Castle

We had to leave our accommodation by 9am to allow extra Covid cleaning time. It was a cold and damp start but we decided to book a visit to Warkworth Castle on the way home.

Although we enjoyed our visit there was a cold breeze and were glad to retreat to the shelter of the car. It took a few miles for us to thaw out. 

One of the advantages of being close to home was that we were home by early afternoon.  A really enjoyable week away.
