Down by the River

After the extensive search and rescue mission yesterday and the long excursion on Wednesday I thought I might get myself an easy blip today. I went out to the outskirts of the village and crossed the road to where some barley is waving in the breeze. There are some nice trees and a glimpse of the river.

I thought we were going to have a cold wet day but after the rain passed through it's been very nice. We've been moving some furniture around so a carpet layer can ... you guessed, lay a carpet in the spare room. Then we moved the furniture back. I've been grocery shopping too. I probably need to relax with a drink after all that excitement.
