Weather changed

The weather changed today so we've had to resort to the wet weather gear. We headed off again to try and find the tern colony.  Parked where we were advised yesterday and headed off - 1.5 miles or so later we came to where we hoped we'd be able to wander onto the beach to watch them. Got accosted by wardens who told us that all routes were now closed due to them nesting - so we had to abandon the idea and wandered back to the car on a very blowy beach - it was exhilarating even though it was, for me, a hard slog.  At least the wind was on our backs and it did not rain.
Back home we had a lazy afternoon, did a little shopping and went to the harbour to try out some long exposures; failed at that due to the winds blowing everything around and hands being too cold to work properly.
Home to our last evening here before packing up and heading homewards tomorrow.
