Helping (Day 2241)
I had decided that today would be a day off. My body clock paid no attention, and I was wide awake at 630. Seeing little point in lurking in bed, I took Sigyn for a wet wander up the hill. The good weather forecast was clearly a fabrication.
Back at home I got a vat of chilli on the go, then cleared up the kitchen. As I contemplated what else to do with the remainder.of the morning, I got a call out to a job in Orphir.
I was home again at lunchtime, and as the sky cleared a bit I took Sigyn out to Lyde. We were lucky to miss the rain.
Later I accompanied my beautiful wife to Stromness to check on the horses. George made a point of helping HV as she cleared some weeds from the field.
