At the top of the hill.

There are lots of wild flowers, plenty bugs and beetles and bird life. It seems that the apparent barrenness of the old mine spoil heap is misleading.
With Alison and family away for a well deserved long weekend, we are Rosa sitting. A pleasure, not a hardship! However, to allow Rosa to settle in, I took Chloe back to Fallin bing and explored a few of the other paths. MaggieD somehow managed to catch R & C together and actually sitting still - no mean feet in itself!
The day started dry but we have had a good bit of rain mid afternoon. However, the sun is back out now and our little corner of the world is drying out yet again. At least it will cut down on watering the garden and the community flower beds!
